..since my last update. Again. *sigh* I guess I'm not really the type that can keep a steady journal going :) Anyway, just wanted to say I didn't forget about dA, although I didn't visit as often as I would have liked. Got my hands on some new gadgets in the meantime (remote trigger for flash finally), and made some myself (a small softbox for macro shooting). Also shot a ton of new pictures that I still haven't uploaded anywhere, so I'll try to make up for it in the upcoming days (hopefully uploading at least 1 picture per day). Again it has been months since my last entry. Not because nothing interesting happened since then, but because I'm too lazy to write journal entries :( gotta work on that (note to self). Anyway, enough qq, let's move to the interesting stuff :) I purchased a new lens yesterday - Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM. What can I say except WOW! That thing is SHARP! I've only been playing with it for a day and I must say I'm quite pleased with this purchase. Since it wasn't all that cheap (I did get a discount though) it was quite a relief to see it's exactly what I expected and more. Next step: shoot some pictures! I guess you can expect to see some

A journal update after almost a year? Yes, at last something worth writing about. I finally got around to buying my very own first dSLR :D Finding the right camera for my needs was a real nightmare so I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone I've bothered to help me out! I honestly can't remember when was the last time I was this excited about something. The camera I settled for in the end is Canon EOS 1000D and I'm loving it :) The weather also seems to be getting better so I guess its the prefect time to go out and start playing around with this baby. Woohoo!
